These seeds are collected from Sarracenia purpurea that has been open pollinated and will be purpurea crosses although of course some pure purpureas will have snuck in there! they may have crossed with Leucophylla, Flava, psittacina, Oreophila, Alata or hybrids all will have the very hardy nature of their one sure parent.

Aconitum Hemsleyaynum – seed.
Aconitum Hemsleyaynum is a hardy twining, climber, it is herbaceous dying back to ground level in the winter, which makes it just the plant to grow over a surface that may need painting in the winter or early spring! It's steel blue flowers almost look like Wisteria, but are in bloom after Wisteria has finished in July - August. This plant is poisonous but well worth putting on a pair of gloves for!

Gunnera manicata seed is best sown as fresh as possible although I have sown seed that has germinated reasonably well in spring, so all is not lost if you are reading this in Spring 2020. Surface sow and keep as close to 20 - 25c as possible and moist at all times.
