Arisaema Sikokianum
£15.00
Arisaema sikokianum is a plant for well drained shade , too much wet in winter and it will not be happy, but given the right conditions with added leaf mould if possible and this plant really is a wonder to behold, with it’s dark spathe and matt, white, club-like spandix. It takes 5 years for the plants to become female and if you have a young male present then the flowers will be followed by red berries. The roots die back to the dormant tuber in winter . If you don’t have a suitable outside conditions Arisaema sikokianum is well suited to pot culture and can then be brought into an unheated greenhouse for the winter but should not be allowed to completely dry out.
Plants are supplied potted in 9cm pots.
