Campanula ‘Iridescent bells’ is a real ‘Wow!’ plant, from almost black buds, it’s beautiful lavender bells are 7cms in length and just smother the plants in colour . Last year this plant flew off our stand at every plant fair we took it to!

Kirengeshoma Palmata
Kirengeshoma palmata flowers at the end of Summer when most other plants are thinking of having a rest! It is a shade lover that prefers an acid soil with leaf mould for company if possible. It's maple like leaves form a good clump below the yellow bell flowers, not slug proof but pretty much disease free.

Astrantia major ‘Buckland’
Astrantia major 'Buckland' is an easy , no fuss plant, disease and slug resistant, happy in sun or shade, it's pincushion white flowers are flushed with pink and held on strong stems. Astrantias make excellent cut flowers lasting at least a month in water. Buckland will form a good clump that can be divided in Autumn or spring.

Schizostylus coccinea ‘major’
Schizostylis coccinea 'Major' brings a burst of colour late in the season when everything else is thinking of of going to bed for the Winter! It is happy in average growing conditions but doesn't like to dry out too much in the Summer, but neither does it like too much wet in the Winter, this makes it sound as if it's fussy but it's really a very easy plant that grows well here in Wales even with our somewhat soggy Winters. It will form a good sized clump eventually at least 60cms or more wide that can be divided preferably in Spring , although I have divided Schizostylis all through the seasons and it's never let me down.
