Dodecatheon pulchellum ‘Red wings’ are small but tough, perfect for the front of the border or woodland edge. ‘Red wings’ is one of the strongest colour forms of Dodecatheon with flowers in a deepest cerise.Dodecatheon pulchellum is native to the west of North America and even into Alaska where it grows in coastal prairies, mountain meadows and stream sides.  It is fully hardy and will form a good clump that can be divided in winter,
