Ficus Brunswick is well suited to our wetter, colder, growing conditions, it is hardy, deciduous, self fertile and reliable but it does like a sheltered site in full sun. restricting it’s roots by growing in a pot or placing slabs vertically around it’s roots will encourage it to produce more of it’s pear shaped ,green flushed purple ,sweet fruits.
Plants are supplied in a 1.5ltr pot.

Hebe “Marilyn monroe”
Hebe "Marilyn Monroe" has beautiful sage green variegated foliage with new growth emerging in a shade of dark pink, flowers are deep mauvey pink fading to light pink with time. This evergreen shrub had a compact rounded shape and is well suited to a container and prefers a sheltered site in full sun.

Lemon Verbena , Lippia Citriodora .
Lemon Verbena, Lippia Citriodora has the most lemony scent of all plants, it almost smells like lemon sherbet ( if only there was a scratch and sniff feature on your screen!). Half hardy it is best grown against a wall or in a pot placed near the house, or if you're in a wet ,cold area bring it in to an unheated greenhouse or polytunnel for the Winter, prune it back in winter/ early Spring to keep it tidy. Use Lemon Verbena in herb tea, stuffings, pot pourri, cakes or just brush your hand across it as you walk past and let it fill the air with it's incredible scent!

Fuchsia microphylla
Fuchsia microphylla is one of the most rewarding hardy fuchsias to grow, when it is in full flower although the blooms are small the whole bush is covered in them creating almost a magenta cloud! Although I am assured it can get taller here, it rarely gets taller than 1mtr in warmer areas it would grow from the hard wood frame but here we cut it back to 20cms in the spring and off it goes shooting up to 1mtr. Still flowering here well into November if we haven't had a frost!

Fuchsia magellanica “Lady Bacon”
Fuchsia "Lady Bacon" is a strong growing, hardy fuchsia, it really earns it's keep flowering all summer. After a cold winter it may need pruning so that it grows from the base but most years it can be left to grow from the hard wood frame. It's delicate pink, mauve and white flowers smother the plants.
Plants are supplied in a 9cm pot and will be pruned back.
