Geranium pratense ‘Storm Cloud’

Introducing our NEW! Geranium pratense ‘STORM CLOUD’ we have been working with this one for 7 years and are now able to offer stock for sale. New growth that appears at the end of February is cherry red and matures to dark green edged dark red as the season progresses, with new leaf growth still coming through red. Flowers are held on strong stems , semi double strong blue with a cerise frill , some flowers will be single. A strong growing , slug proof and mildew resistant plant , flowering from the end of May with a second flush later in the season. Limited stock available now , but more coming soon.

Dicentra Spectabalis Alba / Lamprocapnos spectabalis alba is a hardy perennial that flowers early in the Spring, it's fresh, light green ferny foliage appears in early April or earlier if you're in a sheltered area. The arching rows of white hearts are well in flower by mid April and last until July, Although Dicentra spectabalis Alba is fantastic in the shade where it's white hearts glisten from the gloom, I have grown it in full sun here in damp west Wales and it has been very happy! Dicentra Spectabilis 'Valentine' ( lamprocapnos spectabilis 'Valentine') has fabulous dark red stems that hold arches of red and white hearts over ferny green foliage that emerges dark red. It is fully hardy and suited to most areas of the garden that have a little shelter from really strong winds, oh and yes it's also slug proof!

GEUM ‘MAI TAI’
Geums are virtually slug proof! and are in flower for a long period their main flush is in May to July but they can still be sending up buds in September.

Corydalis ‘Spinners’
Corydalis 'Spinners' is a cross between Corydalis Elata and Corydalis Flexuosa it's delicate sky blue flowers are held above divided ferny foliage , happy in most soils alkaline to acid, in sun or shade, as long as it doesn't dry out! after flowering in the spring and early Summer Corydalis 'Spinners' will go dormant until the Winter when it starts to reappear.
Plants are supplied bare root December - February . 9cm pot March onwards. If plants are sent when in full growth it may be necessary to cut them back for postage.
