Gillenia trifoliata

Gillenia trifoliata when established from a distance looks like a  cloud ( or kaleidoscope) of white butterflies and I’m not thinking cabbage whites here but something much more delicate! The white flushed pink flowers are held on dark wiry stems and flutter in the breeze, native to Eastern North America as far north as Ontario it can easily cope with our climate with foliage that turns an attractive peachy orange in Autumn, happiest in neutral to slightly acidic soil.

Plants are supplied in a 9cm  pot and may be cut back for dispatch.
