Jasminum officinale ‘Argenteovarigatum’ is a hardy deciduous climber that has grey green variegated leaves edged in cream with a hint of pink, it has scented white flowers in summer.

After a cold winter it may need pruning so that it grows from the base but most years it can be left to grow from the hard wood frame. It's delicate pink, mauve and white flowers smother the plants.

Ceanothus “Blue sapphire”
Ceanothus "Blue sapphire" is an evergreen shrub with small, very dark green leaves and strong dark blue flowers held on arching stems. It makes an excellent shrub for a large container as it can cope with dry conditions and it's spreading shape looks impressive when it hangs over the edge of a pot or wall. The young foliage is almost bronze it's so dark, making it an excellent background for the rich blue flowers.
