Lilium Nepalense is happiest in semi shade, plant it in a reasonably well drained site so that it doesn’t sit in too much wet in the winter, it’s not that fussy as it will cope with our wet Welsh winters! It likes a neutral to acid soil and will reward you with scent, although this can be a little unpredictable with some more scented than others and often more strongly scented in the evening.
Bulbs are supplied during the dormant season, other times in a 1.5ltr pot and cut back for packing when at full height.
