Soldanella montana

Soldanella montana is an amazing little shade lover it’s delicate mauve flowers are held on strong stems above shiny circular leaves that still look tidy well after the flowers have come and gone forming attractive green domes. Damp conditions suit it best but too much winter wet will upset it so plant it somewhere with suitable drainage.

PRIMULA Wilsonii
Primula Wilsonii has rich ,dark red flowers that first appear in May, if we have a warm late summer they will have a second flush in August. Happiest in average to damp, well drained soil in sun or semi shade. Primula Wilsonii is evergreen so it doesn't get lost in the border over winter! and has aromatic roots and leaves, it forms a good clump that can be divided after flowering. This elegant and delicate primula is a lot tougher than it looks! it has the most fantastic scent and is happy in damp places in sun or shade. Native to the eastern Himalayas where it grows in shady bogs and alpine meadows it has adapted well to our British conditions growing well in the border, it will form a good clump that can eventually be divided after flowering.Plants are supplied in a 1.5ltr pot and as the picture shows are either white or Mauve.
